Banksia’s annual Charity Golf Day will be held again at Moruya Golf Club, on Friday 15 September 2017.
A number of local businesses and partners from the wider community have come on board again as sponsors, to donate prizes or to field a team, and their support for this important event on Banksia’s calendar is so greatly appreciated. We are particularly grateful to ActewAGL for their continuing support as Major Sponsor, and to Moruya Golf Club for the
ir incredible efforts to help us put on an enjoyable and successful day.
The annual golf day is Banksia’s largest fundraising event in the year and is now an established and very popular fixture on the Eurobodalla calendar, attracting a wide cross-section of our local community residents and businesses. The event is a great opportunity for Banksia to strengthen important relationships with our partners and supporters across the region. All funds raised on the day are directed to our residential aged care facility, Banksia Lodge, and invested in programs to benefit our residents.
The event is run as a 9-hole Ambrose competition, followed by a Novelty Putt-Out with a winner-takes-all cash prize, a barbecue lunch, competition prize presentations and the raffle draw. With 16 teams expected to play this year, we’re expecting another great day.
