A few weeks ago, a very special “Bushfire Recognition” morning tea was held at Banksia.
Residents from Banksia Village and Banksia Lodge gathered in the Honeyeater lounge, along with staff, volunteers, family members and local community members.
Banksia CEO Graham Wise spoke of the extraordinary support received from so many in the Banksia community during the bushfire period, and Banksia Chair Stephen Palywoda presented certificates to those who had been nominated for their outstanding contributions.
It was a wonderful opportunity for the Banksia community to come together in recognition of all the superb support from those around us. Some photographs from the day are shared below.
