Chef – part-time

This is your opportunity to join the Banksia Food Services team and use your professional skills and knowledge to provide home cooked, nutritious meals to Banksia Lodge residents.

As a Chef at Banksia Lodge, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, assisting with menu planning, stock ordering and most importantly cooking high quality, well presented meals in a safe and compliant manner that will delight and exceed the expectations of our residents.

To be successful, you will hold a minimum of Cert III in Commercial Cookery qualification and have at least 2 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen. In addition, you will be required to successfully pass a National Police Check.

Banksia strongly recommends all employees have an understanding of and be vaccinated against communicable diseases as listed in the NSW Immunisation Schedule such as influenza and COVID-19.
