Respite – Short term care when you need it most
It’s not unusual, as we become older or our health needs change, to find that we need some professional care for a short while – for example, after surgery or while recovering from an injury or an illness. Respite provides an ideal opportunity to receive short term clinical support and help with daily living in a comfortable, supportive and caring environment. It’s also a great way for people who are considering a move into permanent aged care to sample the benefits and lifestyle offered in a residential care environment.
At Banksia Lodge, our fully accredited residential aged care…
…facility at Broulee, we provide high quality, professional short term and emergency respite care for people over 65, for as little as two weeks at a time. Our respite rooms are fully private with their own en suite bathrooms and peaceful garden outlook.
If you would like more information about Banksia’s respite options, or our other aged care services including dementia and palliative care, please contact Sarah Delaney, our Administration and Domestic Services Manager, on (02) 4471 6091.
How do I apply?
