Community Care – Practical, professional help in your home
“I’m managing so much better now I’ve got some help at home. It’s made all the difference.”
Banksia Community Care offers practical, professional help in your own home via the following programs.
- Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) – for Domestic Services only. The CHSP program helps older people access entry level support services to live independently and safely at home.
- Support at Home Program – Under Support at Home, you have access to a defined list of services to support you to live at home for longer. This can include clinical supports (such as nursing care, occupational therapy and podiatry), independence (such as help with showering, taking medications, transport and respite care) and everyday living (such as cleaning, gardening, shopping or meal preparation).
- Private Fee For Services – you can also access all our home care services on a private fee for service basis.
Our CHSP and Support at Home packages are delivered in line with the Australian Government Aged Care Act 2024, and are available to residents of Banksia Village and the surrounding Eurobodalla region, from Tuross Head to Durras. Our friendly, professional team will work with you to design a support package of practical, personal or clinical care services tailored specifically for your needs and delivered in the comfort of your own home.
Empowered at home
We know how important the comfort and familiarity of living in your own home is. We also know that sometimes, because of health or ageing, day to day living at home becomes difficult. That’s where we can help, with our Support at Home Packages.
We operate throughout the NSW Eurobodalla region, including Batemans Bay, Moruya and Tuross.
Our home care services are also provided on a private fee for service basis.
